Due to COVID-19, our highest priority is the health and safety of our MVPNS community, including our children, teachers, and parents. At this time, Santa Clara County Public Health Department is not allowing in-person parent and child classes. Because of the high number of adults participating in this class with their children, the requirements that would allow us to reopen are stricter than for our co-op program.
We are happy to announce that until we can be together in person, we will bring MVPNS virtually to you through MVPNS Connect beginning the week of September 8th. We will be offering small and large group meetings. The schedule will be created to fit both family and teacher availability and have already been set for this year. Please see our flyer below for more program details.
At MVPNS, our ultimate intention is to do whatever we can to initiate supportive relationships with our children and families UNTIL WE CAN SAFELY BE TOGETHER. We are NOT intending for remote learning to replace in-person learning. The primary priority for our teachers is to provide opportunities for social and emotional learning. Of course, we provide opportunities for learning in ALL the developmental areas (cognitive/language/motor), but social and emotional learning are key.
A maxim that the teachers keep reminding themselves, to honor our philosophy and mission as a parent cooperative school, is that “We need to plan so that parents can be with their children in meaningful ways, to be intentional.”
Toddler Parent/Child Class | $130 | monthly |
2s Parent/Child Class | $160 | monthly |
